arrived for an oil change , State inspection and tire rotation on my 2011 Enclave with 49,000 miles. Having gone to Cernak Buick since newly purchased every 6 months, I assumed all dealerships were as honest. The oil change and inspection took over 2 hours. before State inspection(which was not done) I was told I needed $2,413.44 worth of work. I was put off that all this was estimated prior to inspection looking at a REJECT unless completed. I left at that point and went to another dealership to get a Sticker (no issues). Today I went to a private shop to look into the rest of the problems noted by your mechanic. The shop found only one minor issue requiring $800.00 to fix. The tire rotation you did was not reset so I needed to go to another place after State sticker to correct tire locations.. I paid $50.00 to have my car gone over by the private shop to ease my concerns, it is this I wish to recover from Bob Pions.

This rating only concerns the service department. Everyone made the experience great except the technician who serviced the vehicle. This dealership is really outstanding in all areas except the actual service work. First time I had an oil leak. They fixed the leak perfect but forgot to plug back in the sensor so a low oil warning was on. I figured out the issue and fixed myself. 2nd time brought in for no horn function, tire rotation, oil change. They fixed horn and performed tire rotation, oil change. But once again left wires to the parking sensors disconnected. I figured out the issue and fixed myself. If you have to worry about a technician forgetting to do something on your vehicle and being that irresponsible its not worth it. Most people are not able to recheck all the work that is performed. I then had to check the oil, filter, and make sure rims were properly tightened. I brought the vehicle in 2 times and both times an alternate issue was created where I would need to drive 40 minutes back to dealer, waste more of my time and fuel for something that should have been normal operating repair procedure. I really wanted to have a great experience with the service dept. because the rest of my experience with everyone at the dealership there had been fantastic. Unfortunately I think at some point they are going to forget to do something and it will be a catastrophic outcome. Fortunately I have experience in repairing vehicles so I figured out the issue but cannot give a higher rating because the job was not done properly and will not risk returning. It may seem like small issues but next time they might forget to reattach something major.
