New and Pre-Owned Sales Consultant

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Description:

 Sales Consultant is directly responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles. The position includes but is not limited to: personal work ethic, business development, selling vehicles and following up to the sale.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Customer satisfaction Presenting vehicles to customer, reviewing the operation
  • Vehicle test drives (going with your customer)
  • Ensuring the customer experiences a smooth and satisfying experience during the delivery
  • process. (operation of vehicle, warranty, Onstar)
  • Utilizing and maintaining the CRM system- maintaining tasks and follow up… before, during and after the sale
  • Texting and calling customers through the CRM system only
  • Knowing what is in inventory- new and pre-owned vehicles
  • Understanding and knowledge of technology in vehicles
  • Maintaining dealership & GM training standards quarterly/yearly
  • Establishing individual goals, monthly and yearly- unit based and income based.
  • Overcoming customer objections
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales
  • Introduce customers to our service department at delivery
  • Checking in new and pre-owned inventory-Lot maintenance and organization
  • Keeping all customer information secured in your locked desk
Test Drive Procedures:
  • Color Copy of DL- front and back
  • Review the features and benefits of the customers vehicle
  • Sales consultant to accompany customer on test drive
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Ability to read, comprehend and process instruction and information
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Present yourself in professional appearance with neat and clean hygiene
  • Ability to sell a minimum quota of vehicles per month
Working Conditions:
Must be able to move throughout the dealership. Spending time outside presenting vehicles to customers. Flexibility with holiday, night and weekend schedules.

Automotive Accounting & Registration Clerk

Bob Pion Buick GMC, Inc. is looking to add an Automotive Accounting & Registration Clerk. The ideal candidate will need extreme attention to detail, excellent communication and computer skills, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment and able to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines. Must have a positive and team player attitude :)

Automotive Office experience is a plus!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Breakdown of all deals and submission of paperwork to the proper financial institutions.
  • Double checking car deals for accuracy - responsible for correcting errors.
  • Communication with insurance agencies to verify documents and timelines.
  • Processes all registrations through Dealer Track in a timely manner as well as preparing registration paperwork for out of state sales.
  • Assisting Finance Managers, customers, sales associates, and service department.
  • Stocking in all new and used inventory, tracking Certificate of Origins and Titles.
  • Processing all trade payoff's
  • Weekly title/CO checks
  • Cross-train with others to assist in bookkeeping and accounts payables/receivables.
  • Cross-train with others to cover cashier and make service appointments.
  • Maintain petty cash account.
  • Reconcile statements.
  • Ensure that all scheduled accounts including warranty claims, rebates, parts and vehicle inventory accounts are current and accurate
  • Perform various administrative duties requested by the General Manager including preparation of sales reports and inventory reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of one-year automotive office experience required!
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient with MS Office or similar software with the ability to utilize various computer programs and understand functionality
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions/information and take a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Must be able to maintain high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and duties simultaneously
  • Maintains professional appearance and neat work area.

Pay
: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
